Oh Hi! I'm Sam,

(she/her) your friendly neighborhood photographer. I am based out Milaca, Minnesota where I live with my husband Trey, and my two hyper and hilarious dogs Atlas and Artemis. And in February of 2023 we welcomed a new member to our family! Our baby boy, Myles.

I was born and raised here in Minnesota but love to travel - my favorite place being Colorado (we like to stay near Louisville). I was awestruck when I saw the mountains for the first time in 2019. Despite that, I still believe that Minnesota is one of the most beautiful places (um, hello North Shore!) and I adore using my camera to capture all it has to offer.

My husband and I even had our own Minnesota summer backyard wedding - complete with BBQ, towering pine trees, s'mores, and all of our closest friends and family. I love all weddings, but the ones where the couple can really let loose and enjoy their day and enjoy just being married to each other are my absolute favorite!

I specialize in love story photography - anything having to do with self-love or love for a partner is my jam! I love being able to work with a couple to capture date night/just because photos, to their engagements, to their big day! I seriously am such a sucker for a good love story and get so invested in you and your journey together that often times I will be crying right along side you both during your happiest moments.
