About Sam (she/her)
Hello! My name is Sam and I am based out Milaca, Minnesota where I live with my husband Trey, and my two hyper and hilarious dogs Atlas and Artemis. I am a happy-go-lucky person who tries to always find the positives in life. I have been a dedicated wedding and couples' photographer and videographer since Spring 2019 and shoot around 10 weddings per year and almost all of my weddings at this point book with me for both photo and video coverage.
STRENGTHS
- Natural Light (obviously golden hour is preferred but I can work with direct sunlight as well)
- Photographing for a more warm and moody editing style - my personal final photos tend to have a similar feel to Salty Sailor or Dirty Boots presets.
- Candid and prompted photos with an authentic feel - I can help pose but in general I focus on a more casual and relaxed feel
- Very personable and outgoing - I also work as a teacher so I am used to interacting with people of all ages, backgrounds, and attitudes.
- Hybrid photography/videography - photo and video shot by one person at the same time.
- Detail oriented videography with the final intended product a romantic slow-motion wedding highlight reel - I typically shoot 1080P 60fps

***Additional travel and/or lodging fees may apply
***I do have my own dedicated second shooters that are trained in both photography and videography that I like to bring with me when associate shooting if possible
